1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DayGrid ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DayGrid is a personal journaling and habit tracking application. The Service allows users to write journal entries, track daily habits, set writing goals, and view analytics about their writing patterns.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• DayGrid offers a Free tier and a Pro subscription at $2.99/month or $19.99/year.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page or through the Stripe customer portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.
• When you downgrade from Pro to Free, you retain access to Pro features until your current billing period ends.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create using DayGrid. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your journal entries, habit data, or other content. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human can reasonably produce.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
